San Diego City College

Founded in 1914, San Diego City College is the first community college in San Diego and the fifth established in California. Located in the 8th largest city in America, our 60-acre urban campus comprises 1/5 of the footprint of downtown San Diego. A Hispanic-Serving Institution, City College has a robust student services program that helps more than 16,000 students reach their educational goals. Known for its prestigious faculty and innovative programs, City College prepares students to transfer to four-year colleges and enriches our regional workforce by offering more than 200 degrees and certificates, including Nursing, Cosmetology, Information Technology, Engineering and the Sciences.
