About the college

Allan Hancock College is located in Santa Maria, California, with offsite centers in Lompoc, Solvang and at Vandenberg Air Force Base. Approximately 16,000 credit and noncredit students choose this award-winning college each semester to begin a bachelor’s degree, earn an associate degree, prepare for a career or upgrade their skills. Its intercollegiate athletic program offers 12 men’s and women’s sports teams. Hancock is one of the largest employers in northern Santa Barbara County with an economic impact on the community of more than $200 million annually. Allan Hancock College students consistently enjoy high acceptance rates to universities across the state and nation, and strong employment opportunities in their chosen career fields.
