About the college

Since its founding in 1935, City College of San Francisco (CCSF) has evolved into a multicultural, multi-campus community college that is one of the largest in the United States. CCSF was the first college to offer women training as aircraft mechanics, and established one of the first women's studies programs in the nation. Associate degrees are granted in academic programs such as broadcasting, business, computer science, culinary arts, engineering, fashion, graphic communications, health care, nursing, physical education and dance.
