San Jose City College, established in 1921, serves residents of San Jose, Milpitas, and other neighboring communities. The college has grown into a world-class institution, and is most well-known internationally as a center for innovation in technology and research. The student center, completed in 2004, is next to a new parking garage and a new science building was recently completed.
